Sophie recently graduated from Marymount University with a bachelors in psychology. she played for the women’s volleyball team, all four years during which she and her teammates earned  two conference championships with two appearances to the NCAA tournaments, and advancing to the sweet 16!

Sophie just recently moved to Denver, originally from West Virginia. She came here to expand her academic career in Sports Psychology. 

This is Sophie's first year at 303 VBA. She is also the assistant coach to the 16 Bravo team! 

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado where I graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 2018. I played with 16, 17, and 18 Alpha at 303 and was able to receive bids and compete at USAV Nationals. During my time playing volleyball in Colorado, I was recruited and signed to play at Mississippi College in Jackson, MS. Here we traveled throughout the south playing teams in the Gulf South Conference. I served as both middle and right side collegiately. 

My college career came to an end in Mississippi after I made the decision to change my major and transfer to the University of Montana. At UM I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Genetics in 2022. In Missoula I began my coaching career at Zootown Volleyball Club coaching girls 16s for two seasons. I then moved to Great Falls, Montana to pursue my research career while also coaching an 18s team at Mighty Mo Volleyball Club. 

I moved back to Colorado in 2023 for the first time since high school. Currently, I work full time at the University of Colorado doing clinical research for the Division of Cardiology. I’m extremely excited to be back at 303 for my 4th season coaching!
