Denny Bryan

Denny Bryan

15 Alpha Head Coach/Youth Programming Director

Denny was born and raised in Denver, Colorado where she graduated from Highlands Ranch High School in 2008. After playing all 4 years in high school and despite having opportunities to play in college, Denny opted to go to school locally at the University of Colorado Denver. Her 13 year coaching career began her freshman year of college.

Denny spent 7 years with Highlands Ranch High School where she coached every level from freshman to assistant varsity. The past 8 years, Denny has been with Thomas Jefferson High School. At TJ, Denny started with mostly with the sophomore and junior varsity levels. She took over the program from 303's Director, Erik Rhee, after he retired in 2020, and she has been the head varsity coach for 4 years. Last year Denny also started the first ever TJ Boy's Volleyball program!

Denny's decision to coach is a result of the impact all of her coaches had on her and the amazing memories she made playing club and in high school. She wants to give back to the sport that provided her with so many great experiences and believes coaching volleyball is a special opportunity to help our youth learn beyond the sport.

Before coming to 303 VBA, Denny coached at Nuu Sky Volleyball Club and Five Star Volleyball Club. At 303, Denny has coached a range of ages and levels from 13 Alpha to 18 Bravo.

Denny and her husband, Benjamin, have an 8 year old daughter named Makenna as well as a 2.5 year old son named Beckett, and their dog Luna. In her free time, Denny still loves to play volleyball with her husband and friends. She also enjoys being in the mountains, swimming, road tripping, and spending time with her family.

For the 2023-2024 season, Denny will head coach the 15 Alpha team. This will be Denny's eleventh year of coaching at 303 VBA.
